The Spectator, The Institute of Directors, and 116 Pall Mall invites readers to a very special Lebanese wine lunch in the presence of H.E. the Ambassador of Lebanon, Rami Mortada, at 116 Pall Mall, one of London’s most striking mansions, designed by John Nash in 1828 and boasting a remarkable art collection.
Hosted by Spectator drinks editor, Jonathan Ray, and Michael Karam, the leading authority on Lebanese wine and the inspiration behind the extraordinary film, Wine & War, the specially-created three-course lunch will be washed down with ten different wines, from the greatest names of Lebanese winemaking: Domaine des Tourelles, Château Ksara, Ixsir, Massaya and Château Musar. Principals and representatives from the wineries will join us, and this promises to be a fascinating and hugely enjoyable occasion.
