The London Marathon 2024 at 116 Pall Mall

On Sunday 21 April, The Mall was buzzing with energy and emotion as London Marathon athletes crossed the finish line, just outside of 116 Pall Mall. It was a pleasure to welcome participants through our doors for a much-deserved respite and celebration after their amazing accomplishment.

Making use of a multitude of our spaces, 116 Pall Mall hosted the wonderful charities who supported by many of the London Marathon 2024 runners. These included Asthma + Lung UK, Barnardo’s, Muscular Dystrophy UK, RSPCA, World Animal Protection and SCOPE. From the Waterloo and Nash Rooms to the Champagne Bar and Café Duke, our building was bursting with life and excitement, lifting the spirits of exhausted marathoners.

Runners were met with praise and applause as they stepped through the doors of 116 Pall Mall, triumphantly making their way up our breathtaking staircase dosed in sponsor colours and banners. The grandeur of our building provided the perfect final stop for participants and families, with tears, hugs and cheers shared under the chandelier that were felt across the nation.

Our Searcys Chefs carefully curated a nutritious meal for runners to refuel with a selection of roasted corn and bean chilli, salt cod with black bean salsa or Asian spiced Old Spot pork belly, accompanied with an array of vegetables and condiments.

Huge congratulations to all of those who took part in the London Marathon 2024, and a massive thank you to the sponsors who dedicated their time to create such a supportive atmosphere throughout.
